Pelem Ukulele is a handmade ukulele builder based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, founded by luthier Fadil Firdaus and manager-designer Wafiq Giotama. Specializing in crafting ukuleles from Indonesian tropical solid woods like Mahogany, Mango, and Acacia, Pelem Ukulele has been creating instruments since 2010. The company has built hundreds of ukuleles in a range of sizes, from the diminutive sopranissimo to the substantial baritone. The name "Pelem" reflects the Javanese word for mango, a nod to their roots and the natural materials they use.
